RAW ch.66 (Direct TV 846) Tuesday 9/9 midnight et (technically Wed morning for east coast listeners), Sunday 9/14 9pm et

While Doc spent last night praising his Brian Urlacher shrine, KB could only speak four words the whole day… “worst opening sunday ever”. However there were other things going on in the world (yes even besides Brady being out for the season). Doc and KB put their football sunday aside and get into the latest in progressive hip hop on the latest show. New joints from Bishop Lamont (prod. Dr. Dre), Oddisee, Large Professor, Common Market, Ice Cube, Jake One, Reks, Murs, and many more. You’ll also hear some classic tracks thrown in throughout the show. Check it out this week on Subsoniq.

*Sorry for the confusion, we read the calendar wrong last week and mistakenly had the People Under the Stairs scheduled to come in this week 9/9. That will actually happen NEXT Tuesday 9/16 on Subsoniq.*

The Rhyme ch.65 (Direct TV 845) Wednesday (7/23) 6pm et, Sunday (7/27) 6pm et

As one of the founding members of Company Flow, Mr. Len is the epitome of what progressive hip hop is. We speak of the 90s as a time when the progressive sounds developed and prospered, well here is a man who made those sounds, lived through the time, and had many direct connections to others who were trailblazing the progressive sounds. Join Len as he hits you off with a dope mix this week on Subsoniq Classix! We are honored to have Mr. Len as part of the Subsoniq Crew, so please make him feel welcome. http://www.myspace.com/mrlen

New Music Show

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

RAW (ch.66, Direct TV 846) Tuesday 7/15 midnight et (technically Wed morning for east coast listeners), Sunday 7/20 9pm et

Who says summer is a slow time for new music? You ALWAYS gotta stay on top of things and keep your ears open, like our friends Questlove and Al Green up top! With new material on the horizon from the likes of Nas, Jean Grae, Statik Selektah, Vast Aire, Flying Lotus, Skillz, Presto, and many more…..we just had to get out another show jam packed with new progressive hip hop. KB flys solo this week as Doc is still recovering from the hangover the Brooklyn Brewery gave him up at the BHH Festival last weekend ;-) *be sure to tune in for the whole show as a few requests from the boards will be played in the show*
