No you don’t have to pinch yourself, or look out the window to see if pigs are flying……Subsoniq is officially in Drive Time!! Many thanks to the good people at RAW (Leo G and Mz Kitti) who have not only provided Subsoniq with a home for the past couple years but have now have given us the opportunity to have a Drive Time slot! As you may know, Funkregulata Celo has joined the RAW family and will be feautured Monday-Thursday nights from 9pm-1am (be sure to check out the show, Celo is a dope mixer!) As a result of this addition to the RAW family,  Subsoniq now has a new Tuesday morning slot from 9am - 11am et! Subsoniq also retains its Sunday nigtht slot from 9pm - 11pm et. Be sure to check us out at our new time and show some love to RAW for all the support over the years.   - KB & Doc

For our second show on the merged platform we decided to bring in members of the Subsoniq Crew to bullshit and pick out some new joints for the night. K-Murdock, KB, DQ, and Raw Poetic at the helm tonight featuring new music from Blame One & Exile, Ludacris, Common, Black Milk, DJ Babu, Madlib, Evidence, Kanye West, Mos Def, and many more. The artwork is furnished by Raw P’s cousin/emcee Pointblank who also guested on “The Scenic Route” (Square 1). This week longtime Native Tongue affiliate and founding member of A Tribe Called Quest, Q-Tip, stops through Subsoniq to chop it up with Doc and KB! He is also joined by fellow Native Tongue lady Monie Love, as they speak on the current VH1 Hip Hop Honors. Tip also gives his thoughts on what has happened to the diversity in hip hop, gives the definitive answer on if Tribe will get back together, his memories and thoughts on the late great J Dilla, and what we can expect from his newest album “The Renaissance” dropping on election day!

November 4th is a huge day for both hip hop and our country in general. We elect our new president that day, the long awaited Q-Tip album drops, and all those who ordered the new Panacea album for October 28th finally get it delivered to them! (ha ha…a lil jab there folks). So in light of all these things going on over the next few days, we decided to split the show accordingly. The first hour Raw Poetic and K-Murdock (aka Panacea) sit down with KB and give some background on the making of the new album and pick out individual favs from it. We will also give a ten minute sampling of the new Q-Tip album “The Renaissance”, and allow Z-Trip to take over the last hour of the show with his recently released Obama Tribute Mix.
