Subsoniq Classix - Interesting/Uncanny Collabos

Monday, May 5th, 2008

The Rhyme (ch.65, Direct TV 845) Wed 6/4 6pm et

As part of the progressive hip-hop movement on XM, Subsoniq Classix features progressive hip-hop from the early ’90s through the early 2000 era. These are joints that helped build the foundation for the progressive sounds we hear today. Subsoniq Classix this week features collabos that hip-hop artists did, that were not expected (at least by us). Whether its Dinosaur Jr. and Del, Mc Eiht and Pete Rock, or Jay-Z and Lenny Kravitz, they were all kinda "out of left field" to us. Some worked, some didn’t, some just were. Check it out this week on Subsoniq Classix!
